‘non-makeup’ items in my kit
If there is one thing I’ve learned from being in bridal suites year after year, it’s that something always comes up. Maybe a hem falls, a pair of sunglasses leaves a mark on a fresh base, or the "morning-of" nerves turn into a headache. Usually, it’s something the bride or the bridal party didn't even think about—and honestly, you shouldn't have to!
When you hire me for your wedding, you aren't just getting a makeup application; you’re getting someone who is prepared for the "what-ifs." Here is a look at the non-makeup items that I never show up without:
The Wardrobe Fixers
I’ve seen straps break and hems trip up bridesmaids. My Micro-stitch tool and Safety Pins are there to fix wardrobe malfunctions in seconds without needing a needle and thread. I also carry Clear Scissors for those pesky stray threads that always seem to pop up on gowns.
The "Freshness" Factor
Weddings are long days. I keep Extra Gum, Dove Dry Spray, and Individually Wrapped Floss in my kit to make sure everyone feels confident and fresh before they head to the altar.
The Tech & Tools
You’d be surprised how often a Sharpie or a Lighter is the hero of the day (great for everything from signing guest books to fixing a frayed ribbon). And because someone’s phone is always at 1%, I keep a Multi-use Charging Cable handy so the music stays playing while we get ready.
The Skin Protectors
One of my favorite secrets? PrettyGrips. If you want to wear your sunnies while taking "getting ready" photos outside, these prevent those annoying marks on your nose so your foundation stays flawless.
My Goal: I want you to sit in my chair and feel a total sense of relief. If you need it, I probably have it.
